studioplusthree

studioplusthree is an award-winning design studio working across exhibition design, architecture, theatre, installation, and furniture design. The practice was established in 2014 by directors Julin Ang, Simon Rochowski and Joseph Byrne, and draws on their collective experience working for design-led practices such as Heatherwick studio, Nissen Richards Studio, Tonkin Zulaikha Greer and Johnson Pilton Walker. Their professional experience spans several countries including Australia, the UK, Hong Kong, the Netherlands and Canada. With a strong belief in the role of craft, prototyping and experimentation in the realisation of projects, the studio works across a range of disciplines, and aims to employ a common set of skills and values to encourage interaction and reduce boundaries between them. Through a process of inquiry, studioplusthree undertake work in a spirit of collaboration and curiosity, aiming to create projects that are individual and bespoke.
