Shipping and Delivery
Where do you deliver?
The Local Project offers delivery worldwide.
Is the magazine charged in AUD or USD?
When ordering a copy of the print publication in Australia or New Zealand, you will be charged in AUD. For all other countries worldwide, you will be charged in USD.
What are your shipping costs?
Shipping is calculated by location as a base rate for a single unit. Please note, additional costs may apply as per the total quantity and weight of your order. Shipping fees are as follows:

What if there is a problem with my delivery?
If you haven’t received your parcel within the delivery timeframes as outlined, please reach out via hello@thelocalproject.com.au. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday between 9am and 5:30pm AEST. One of our team will get back to you within our working hours.
Which shipping company will ship my order?
This will depend on your shipping address.
For orders within Australia, we use Australia Post or another courier company (depending on your shipping address) to deliver your order as quickly as possible. For international deliveries, we use courier companies best suited to your shipping destination.

What happens if my delivery is returned to sender?
We will send you a payment link to cover the return shipment fee. The standard fees are as follows:

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
All orders are dispatched within 48 hours of receiving confirmation. Please see below for shipping date estimates:

Where is my shipping confirmation email?
Once your subscription or online order has been sent out, you will receive a confirmation email to the address linked to your account. If you don’t receive a confirmation email, please check your junk mail or check that your email is up to date on your account.

Orders
Can I return or exchange my order?
The Local Project does not currently offer refunds or exchanges on any orders. However, if you have any issues with your order, please get in touch with us via hello@thelocalproject.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order.
I haven’t received my order yet, what do I do?
If you have received a confirmation email, rest assured your delivery is on its way and it should arrive within the estimated time listed above. The Local Project does its very best to ensure all orders are shipped and delivered within these estimated times, however, there are some variables that are out of our control. Please consider state or nation-wide postal delays if your order has not arrived on time.

I received the wrong item in my order.

Is it cheaper to get a subscription?
Yes, by purchasing our Annual Subscription you will save $4.50.
Will my Annual Subscription auto renew?
Yes, your Annual Subscription will auto renew, meaning that the latest issue will be delivered to you indefinitely. If you do not wish for your subscription auto renew, you can manage your subscription here.
How do I order back issues of the publication?
For all available print issues, please visit our Issue Archive.
Will you restock any back issues that are currently sold out?
Yes, reprints of Issues 01 to 08 will be available for purchase from our Issue Archive in 2022.

Do you offer a student discount?
No, at this stage we do not offer a student discount.
How do I change my subscription address?
If your residence changes, you can update your delivery address through the My Account portal on our website here.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time. To do so, please visit the My Account portal on our website here.
Please note, there are no refunds on Annual Subscriptions. By cancelling your Annual Subscription at any point during your subscription period, you will not receive a refund for the remaining amount. Cancellation will apply to the next subscription period only.
